Parent-Child Dedications
We are deeply committed to helping parents as they strive to raise their children in a way that brings God honor. We offer Parent & Child Dedication services as a special time of public ceremony and personal commitment when parents can promise to raise their child in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Complete the Parent-Child Dedication Registration by downloading it here. It can also be found at the Kids@Central Welcome desk.
- Select a date for your ceremony (September 22, 2013 or November 24, 2013).
- Attend the mandatory parent class.
- Write a parental blessing (150 words or less) and submit it to debbie.meyer@centralsf.org no later than one week prior to the ceremony.
First Grade Bible Presentation
- Bibles will be presented in the fall.
- Choose a life verse for your child and submit it to debbie.meyer@centralsf.org no later than one week prior to the ceremony.

Discover (Baptism) Class
We believe that Bible teaches that a child receives salvation through a personal relationship with Jesus. Personal faith and salvation are not passed down from parent to child, nor are they as a result of participating in a baptismal ceremony. Instead, baptisms are an opportunity for the follower of Jesus to tell others they have joined God’s family through personal faith.
Complete the Discover Baptism Registration by downloading it here. It can also be found at the Kids@Central Welcome desk.
- Select a date for your ceremony (4th or 5th Sunday of the month) and contact the church office to confirm at least two weeks prior to the date selected.
- Attend the class which is offered throughout the year.
- Write a personal testimony (150 words or less) and submit it to debbie.meyer@centralsf.org no later than one week prior to the ceremony.
