7:00 – 7:45pm – LifeGroups
LifeGroups are the whole reason we do Student Central. Students “do God together” and “do life together” in unified community with each other. Students are grouped by gender and grade. LifeGroups are led by amazing adult leaders.
7:45 – 8:30pm – Worship Together
There’s a student worship band, exploration of God’s plan for our lives, and all-around awesomeness.
What grades?
6th through 8th Grade
Who leads?
- We have 130+ adults leading LifeGroups for our students.
- We have another group of volunteers running our MS & HS cafe, checking stations and child care for our adult leaders.
- We have students leading from check in stations, to tech ministries, worship ministries and more.
- We also have our Student Central staff here each week.
Can I bring my friends?
Does a bottle flip? OF COURSE you can bring your friends. In fact, when you bring a friend, it brings joy to ten thousand puppies. Bring your friends.

Register for Student Central
We ask all students participating in Student Central to register.
Why?
1) Registering for Student Central is basically the coolest thing ever.
2) It helps us make sure we have the right contact info for updates and/or emergencies.
3) It helps us know if students already have friends in a LifeGroup they can join.

High School – West Kentucky and Chicago Mission Trips
Current high school students will have two different mission trip opportunities this summer. Both trips will provide students with unique opportunities to see and experience life in a setting different from what they experience in their daily lives.
The first will be a week in West Kentucky from June 10-17. This trip is for students who have completed 9th or 10th grade.
To apply for the West Kentucky trip, click here.
Our 11th & 12th grade mission trip will be to Chicago, IL, June 24-30. This trip is for students who have completed 11th or 12th grade.

Tech Team
Are you interested in tech? We’re talking cameras, switchboards, audio, lighting…all of the stuff that keeps a night of Student Central running smoothly.
We’re always looking for volunteers, so drop us a line if you’re ready to offer your time and talents to our Student Central Tech Team.
Worship Team
Do you love to sing? More importantly, are you interested in leading others as they sing each week during our praise and worship time?
What about playing an instrument? Can you tear it up on guitar, pound on the drums, or do whatever it is bassoon players call it when they’re bassooning?
If so, our Worship Team may be calling your name. Hit us up to see how you can get involved.
Student Leaders
We have both Middle and High School student leadership teams. These groups of students meet on a monthly basis, helping to shape our ministry. Students are also challenged to go deeper in their walks with Jesus, growing in their leadership at Central and in their lives.
LifeGroup Leading & Volunteering
Adult LifeGroup leaders are the heartbeat of our ministry. They’re more than just bodies in a room–they’re men and women who are called to disciple students and desire to make a lasting impact on their lives.
Check out the video to see why getting involved in Student Ministries be the greatest decision you’ll ever make in your time on Planet Earth. (Next to following Jesus, of course.)
We also offer other opportunities for adults to serve in Student Central. We’re looking for adults who enjoy being greeters, who are willing to serve food and drinks in our cafe, or love hanging out with adorable little kids for a few hours to provide childcare for LifeGroup leaders on Wednesday nights.
If you’re interested in volunteering as a LifeGroup leader or in other areas, just email Adam Barrett.
