Course Descriptions
The Enneagram and Jesus
Knowing God and knowing yourself are essential for becoming the person God intended. This is a gospel-based introduction to the Enneagram and its power to help us experience more self-awareness and freedom in Christ.

Intentional Parenting
If we’re honest, all of us could use a little help when it comes to parenting. This class will help you incorporate proven principles into a long-term plan to raise your kids into healthy, independent young adults.

Jon & Jennie Smithback
4-week course: May 11, 18, 25 & June 1
6:00-7:30 pm
Serving at Central as Children’s Pastor, Jon brings a wealth of ministry experience to the table. But his wife, Jennie, is the brains of the operation, with a background in preschool education. The Smithbacks come from a tight-knit family who share a love for kids, sports, and lake life.
Live Sent: How to Change your Relational World
Are you ready to impact your relational world? Live Sent is a training course that will help you be able to confidently bring up spiritual topics — and your own spiritual story — in conversation with your non-spiritual friends.

Nathan Pruett
4-week course: May 11, 18, 25 & June 1
6:00-7:30 pm
An avid cereal eater, Nathan is the Outreach Pastor at Central Church. In spite of his introverted nature, he has learned how to connect with people in slightly less awkward ways than he used to.
The Bible for All of Us
This class is an introduction to reading and studying the Bible. We’ll examine the overall story, the different types of books, and review study methods, all for the purpose of better understanding God’s character, His plan for the world, and the reason why we exist. (So, yeah, kind of important stuff.)
Room: FLC 172
Josh Wittmier
4-week course: May 11, 18, 25 & June 1
6:00-7:30 pm
Born in Montana and educated in Seattle, Josh now lives in Sioux Falls with his wife, Mindy. A mild-mannered electrical engineer by day, a dynamic bible teacher by night, Josh is like a Christian version of Superman. (Don’t worry, he won’t be wearing a cape and tights.)
Vice & Virtue: Ancient Principles for Crazy Times
In a world of uncertainty and instability, Scripture teaches us some timeless truths that, when applied to our lives, bring spiritual health and growth. This class will examine how to break bad habits (vices) and replace them with godly character traits (virtues).
