Christmas is often stereotyped as the holiday of joy and cheer.
But for some, it looks much different.
The reality is, people all around us are suffering with pain, loss, loneliness and more and we feel it’s our responsibility as the church to create a space for for anyone experiencing those emotions during this holiday season.
That is why we are hosting our Blue Christmas service on Dec. 20 at 6:30pm—IN PERSON—in the Hearth Room.
This service will be a place where we can see and support one another to find comfort in the presence of God with us.
Share this with someone you know—it may just be their starting point for recovery.
You can RSVP at centralsf.org/bluechristmasRSVP. We ask you to sign up if you plan to attend so we know ahead of time if we’ll need to move to a larger room. Thanks!
