Recovery Ministry Guest Speaker Wanda Jeffcoat as she sheds new light on the
topic of suicide--and suicide prevention.
We will have counselors available to meet with after the event if you would like
someone to talk to. We truly hope you will join us.

About Wanda Jeffcoat:

Wanda Jeffcoat, MS, NCC, CCTP, is a counselor at Journey Counseling Services in Sioux Falls, SD. She earned her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South Dakota State University and has received certification in Disaster Mental Health and Crisis Intervention from the University of South Dakota. Wanda works with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), providing presentations and seminars on suicide awareness and prevention. She also conducts groups and programs for survivors of suicide. She is a trained and certified CAMS (Collaborative Approach to Managing Suicidality) provider, meaning she uses the CAMS model to work side-byside with clients who are experiencing thoughts of suicide and/or have attempted suicide. She has previously spoken at the Stephen Ministries Association, the Dakota Equality Summit, and the South Dakota Counseling Association (SDCA) Annual Conference.
