Filmmaker

Job Type: Full Time, on location
Job Summary
Central Church is seeking a Filmmaker to create video content that enhances our mission of helping our congregation share the love of Jesus. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio, demonstrating their ability to capture and edit engaging and high-quality videos. You will play a vital role in conveying our church’s visual identity and mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept, capture, and edit videos that align with Central Church’s mission. Videos may be used in:
- Weekend services
- Ministry events
- Social media
- Website / digital
- Collaborate with church staff to understand ministry objectives and expected outcomes of video projects.
- Maintain and organize video equipment, video files, and resources.
- Manage project timelines and ensure all videos are delivered on schedule.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into our video projects.
Qualifications
- Follower of Jesus
- 4+ years of experience in video production and editing. Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse video projects. Please submit a demo reel as part of your application.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Knowledge of lighting and sound techniques for video production.
- Experience in graphic design or motion graphics (preferred), willing to work with graphic design team on aligning with brand standards.
Skills
- Excellent storytelling abilities through visual media.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, depending on the project.
- Ability to receive feedback on video work from ministry leaders & make changes accordingly.
- Proficient at live event capture & editing into recap content.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues on set.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
Other Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 30-50 pounds.
- Required to be on location at Central Church and participate in live events and shoots; most Sundays and some weeknight evenings included based on ministry event schedules.
- Willing to pursue membership at Central Church, including completing a membership class and believer’s baptism.
Kid Central Worship Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:
If you are organized and administratively gifted, love kids, and worship, we would love to talk to you. Kid Central is looking for a Worship Leader to join our ministry team.
TIME COMMITMENT: 10-15 hours a week. Must be available on Sundays.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead worship for Kid Central (KC) services
- Coordinate and schedule volunteers for KC worship and tech teams
- Communicate with and pastorally care for volunteers (kids and parents)
- Utilize Planning Center for scheduling, song selection, song attachments, etc.
- Be responsible for Pro Presenter presentations needed for KC
- Meet weekly with the Children’s Pastor and other KC meetings as needed
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Pastor’s heart, aching desire to lead kids to know and love Jesus
- Creative/Innovative leader who can inspire and equip people to serve.
- Palpable passion for the message and mission of Jesus.
- Flexible leader who is able to adapt to new environments and people.
- Warm and caring interpersonal skills to attract, work with, train, and encourage volunteers.
- A knack for creative problem-solving.
- Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Appreciation for collaboration, humor, and fun.

- A member of the Kid Central team
- Directly report to Children’s Pastor
Residency Program

Central’s Residency Program provides college graduates the experiential components of ministry, going beyond academic experience to provide a more practical application of ministry success.
The program helps shepherd aspiring ministry leaders by providing real ministry experience with oversight and guidance—personally, professionally, and spiritually.
