GIVING

Bring the best of the first fruits of your soil

to the house of the LORD your God.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

We have exciting news about our online giving.

We’re blessed at Central to have people like you who support Central’s mission with your financial gifts. Thank you for your continued kindness and generosity. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to do the work God has called us to do.

We want you to know that we’ve switched our online giving platform from Online Giving to Subsplash Giving. Why did we make the change? The biggest reason is that, with Subsplash, giving a financial gift online will be easier than ever.

Please use the giving portal below to give a one-time gift or set up a recurring gift. For details on how to set up your account, follow the instructions in the giving portal below or click here for step-by-step instructions.

**PLEASE NOTE: You will need to cancel your current recurring gift in our old system, Online Giving, as you make the switch Subsplash Giving. For instructions on how to do that, please click here. Be sure to switch no later than Saturday, Dec. 3.

Questions? Our Finance Team is happy to help! Just call the church office at 605-336-3378 or email our Finance Director, Deb Elliott, at [email protected] or our Staff Accountant, Nicole Ludens, at [email protected].

The main reason is that, with Subsplash, giving a financial gift online will be easier than ever. Also, there are financial benefits to the church that allow us to save on costs and do more kingdom work with your financial gifts. Those savings happen on the back end of the system in the form of lower fees for the church, etc.

Automatically With Your Checking Account

Central offers “Simplified Giving” which allows you to make automatic monthly gifts to the church from your checking account. Contact Director of Finance Deb Elliott at (605) 275-1687 if you would like to set up an automatic giving plan.

Stocks and Appreciated Property

Gifting stock or other appreciated property can be an excellent way to support Central Church and possibly save on capital gains taxes. To make a gift of stock or property, please contact the Central Church Foundation via Deb Elliott at [email protected].

Retirement Accounts

For a limited time, Congress recently passed Tax Relief Act allows IRA or other retirement account distributions gifted to charities (up to $100,000) to be considered no-taxable income to the account owner. This is helpful to those required to do mandatory distributions at age 70-1/2 and beyond..
