Kid Central Operations Director

Job Summary

Central Church is looking for someone passionate about helping kids and families grow in their faith. As part of the Kid Central team, you’ll play a key role in taking our children’s ministry to the next level.

This position will create and maintain systems and processes that impact weekly ministry, special events, and experiences. It will support a dynamic Kid’s Ministry for kids and families at Central Church. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Help ensure that all programs are executed smoothly.
  • Recrute lead and develop volunteers & coaches for the Welcome team/first impressions.
  • Develop First-time Experience protocols and family follow-up.
  • Oversee the Hospitality room.
  • Manage the Kids Leader onboarding process. ensuring a constant flow and follow-up of new leaders.
  • Oversee communication with families; ensure the website is updated, including weekly family emails and reminder texts.
  • Oversee leader communication; ensure the Leader Site training and leader news are updated monthly, and provide leader texts as needed.
  • Oversee and maintain weekly/monthly metrics of attendance, Kids, and leaders through our ministry dashboard.
  • Support Kid Central events through project management facility requests and help ensure timely and efficient execution of all events.
  • Uphold values around safety and security through thorough training of all leaders.
  • Oversee all calendar requests.
  • Oversee Check-in and welcome desk on Sundays.
  • Help develop systems to continue to streamline the Kid Central team.
  • Organize Large Group teaching schedules for all three environments.
  • Coordinate details and logistics for Special Events (1st Grade Bibles, 5th Grade Move Up, Skill School, Volunteer Training).

Qualifications

  • Personal faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with Central’s Statement of Faith. 
  • Member, or willing to become a member, of Central Church.
  • Passion for reaching/growing children in Christ and equipping/encouraging parents and caregivers to do the same. 
  • Available to attend and/or assist with set-up, registration, or other needs for specific Kid Central events, including Sundays.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.

    Kid Central Curriculum Director

    Reports to: Children’s Pastor
    Job Type: Part Time 20 hrs a week 

    Job Summary

    Central Church is looking for someone passionate about helping kids and families grow in their faith. As part of the Kid Central team, you’ll play a key role in taking our children’s ministry to the next level.

    This role focuses on curating an engaging curriculum for ages 2 through 5th grade, supporting our amazing volunteers, and helping develop Kid Central Events. If you are passionate about seeing kids learn about Jesus and inspiring others to share His love, we’d love to have you on the team!

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan Level Up (4th & 5th Grade) small group lessons.
    • Plan Elementary  (1st-3rd Grade)  small group lessons.
    • Plan Early Childhood (3-year old-Kindergarten) small group lessons.
    • Plan 2-year-old small group lessons. 
    • Order supplies and provide all materials for curriculum coordinators to prep all small group lessons.
    • Help make sure all Kid Central rooms are set up for Sunday. 
    • Teach in Elementary, Level Up, and Early Childhood on Sundays (not every Sunday, but often).
    • Meet with the curriculum team once a month.
    • Meet with volunteers as needed.
    • Help with Large Group scripts and curriculum as needed for all three environments.
    • Work alongside the Buddy Ministry Coordinator to help with The Buddy Ministry as needed. 
    • Family Care as needed.
    • Assist in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for children and families. 
    • Assist in recruiting, growing, and equipping Life Group volunteers. 
    • Follow up on leader feedback, helping to improve Kid Central leaders’ and kids’ experiences.
    • Help as needed on Sunday with behavior management and parent communication.
    • Maintain regular office hours.
    • Attendance during weekend service, meetings, and other events determined by the Children’s Pastor.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Personal faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with Central’s Statement of Faith. 
    • Passion for reaching/growing children in Christ and equipping/encouraging parents and caregivers to do the same. 
    • Degree in Children’s Ministry, Education, or other relevant degree preferred.
    • Experience working with children and their parents in a children’s ministry, camp ministry, or educational setting.
    • High level of understanding of child development and curriculum development.
    • Member, or willing to become a member, of Central Church.

    Skills

    • Ability to manage multiple levels of volunteers.
    • High level of problem-solving abilities among families and volunteers with the ability to pivot quickly according to the needs of a fast-paced ministry.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with children and their parents, as well as both student and adult volunteers.
    • Willingness to serve with a positive attitude. Has a cooperative, healthy, and motivating relationship with co-workers, volunteers, parents, and children.

      Kid Central Community Coordinator for Nursery Team

      Job Summary

      Central Church is looking for someone passionate about helping kids and families grow in their faith. As part of the Kid Central team, you’ll play a key role in taking our children’s ministry to the next level.

      This position will help develop a Nursery team that feels like a community by building strong relationships with leaders, coaches, and families while fostering a welcoming and organized nursery environment. This position is responsible for helping recruit, train, and support nursery leaders, ensuring each Sunday is fully staffed and runs smoothly. 

      Key Responsibilities

      • Schedule nursery Leaders 
      • Recruit, Onboard, and train adults and students to serve in the nursery. 
      • Shepherd and empower coaches to lead teams of volunteers.
      • Intentionally build strong relationships with the nursery leaders and coaches.
      • Ensure the nursery rooms have leaders each Sunday to meet our leader-to-child ratios.
      • Work closely with the Community team to develop and appreciate Kid Central leaders. 
      • Send out Birthday cards each month to your Nursery Leaders and coaches.
      • Collaborate with the Kid Central team to create a fantastic experience for kids and families.
      • Present in the hallways on Sundays to build relationships with coaches, leaders, kids, and families. 
      • Help build strong relationships with parents and guardians, addressing their concerns and providing support as needed. 
      • Contribute to and participate in Kid Central events.
      • Participate in team meetings.
      • Oversee the Nursery rooms, order supplies, keep toys clean, and keep rooms organized.

      Qualifications

        Production Associate, Audio Lead

        Reports to: Weekend Programming Director | Production Director
        Job Type: Full Time

        Job Summary

        Act as a Production Associate with emphasis in Audio, helping foster and create sonic environments that inspire worship for the Lord during our gatherings. A positive, team oriented individual is ideal, as they play a vital role on the Production Team. 

        Key Responsibilities

        • Oversee the Audio Department on the Production Team
        • Serve as the FOH Audio Engineer for Weekend Services, and Special Events
        • Develop and steward the Audio Volunteer Team 
        • Oversee the DANTE audio network and patching campus wide
        • Oversee implementation of Audio projects and audio installs
        • Create post production mixes when needed
        • Keep an organized audio equipment workflow 
        • Oversee patching and stage layout across our campus (band plot)
        • Serve at requested gatherings and events
        • Co-lead the College Production Team

        Qualifications

        • Experience mixing in large live environments with large input counts, and can create a solid mix “On the fly”
        • Familiarity with Audio over IP, (DANTE experience preferred)
        • Experience Deploying/Tuning PA and maintaining sound image
        • Experience with Rigging/Flying systems and props
        • Experience with Wireless Systems and RF Deployment
        • Experience Tuning Drums 
        • Experience training on Audio Equipment 
        • Bonus: Experience Regarding Production Project Management
        • Bonus: Familiarity and training on Yamaha Audio Products
        • Bonus: Familiarity with Ross Video products and or MA Lighting (Installed at our facility, other roles serve point on this equipment)

        Reports to: Downtown Campus Pastor
        Job Type: Part Time – 10-15hrs/week

         

        Job Summary

        The Downtown Campus of Central Church is seeking a Middle/High School Group Leader to work alongside the staff at that campus. Central is committed to seeing a strong church grow and serve the people living downtown. This role would not only work with campus staff to develop youth and their families but also be a great chance to gain experience in church planting. This role offers the exciting opportunity to draw young people from disadvantaged settings to Christ and a renewed life. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with young people from a wide range of ethnic and economic groups, most of whom were previously unchurched. Because of that, the ideal candidate will have a tender heart towards youth from all backgrounds.

         

        Key Responsibilities

        • Develop and lead the group with an existing group of high school students.
        • Organize and lead monthly outings.
        • Cultivate relationships with parents and other family members with the purpose of leading families to Christ.
        • Assist in special events

        Qualifications

        • Solid and infectious love for Jesus Christ and people.
        • Strong communication skills with diverse groups of people.
        • High level of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
        • Ability to “see a project through”, i.e. creatively resolving difficulties and setbacks without additional input.
