Young Adults

We are a community of young men and women, ages 23-30, searching for identity, belonging and purpose. We are people who want to develop meaningful friendships and grow spiritually as we navigate a crucial stage of life.

About Central Young Adults

We seek to encourage young adults to grow up into Christ — to experience spiritual, mental, relational, and emotional maturity.

Life as a young adult presents a unique set of challenges. Young adults have entered a season of independence which can lead to true loneliness as they break from family, move away from friends, and seek to establish a career, or desire a romantic partner. This season of life is also extremely transitional — most young adults have experienced or are experiencing significant change in their lives. And whether or not they’re aware of it, young adults have a strong need to recognize and respond to the movement of God and how their life with Christ affects their daily lives.

How can you get involved with Central Young Adults?

If you are a young adult looking for a Gospel-centered community, we hope you’ll join us at Central!

Large Group Gatherings

We meet once a month as a large group. Anyone is invited! This is a fun, low-commitment way for young adults to meet other people in a similar season of life. We allow time for thoughtful discussion of relevant topics in small groups. Our activities differ month-to-month, but our goal is always to grow in relationship with each other and with Jesus through what we do.

Bible StudIES

Young Adults are encouraged to join a LifeGroup. This is a group of 8-15 people who are committed to gathering regularly in an environment of grace and truth. Typically Young Adult Lifegroups meet during the weeks when we don’t have a Large Group Gathering.

Relationships

We aim to provide intentional interactions for young adults to cultivate at least one meaningful relationship.

Mentoring

Whether it’s peer to peer, or intergenerational, mentoring is a type of relationship where young adults have space to process, learn, ask questions, and see a life with God modeled for them.

Join the YOUNG ADULT Leadership Team

We are building the leadership team for Young Adults. If you like planning events, meeting new people, leading a LifeGroup, or connecting with others to get to know them over coffee or lunch, you’re in the right place. Fill out our application to join the team below.
