Defending the Faith: Clarity on Five Hot-Button Issues

Defending the Faith: Clarity on Five Hot-Button Issues

November 1 | 12:15pm–1:30pm

Details

Scripture calls every Christian to "be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have" (1 Peter 3:15). That's what apologetics is: not apologizing, but offering a reasoned defense (from the Greek apologia) of what we believe, with gentleness and respect.

In this five-week class, we'll use short video teaching and group discussion to look at what the Bible clearly teaches about salvation, abortion, gender, marriage, and sex. Our culture treats these topics as complicated and confusing, but God's Word speaks about them with surprising clarity. You'll leave better equipped to live these truths with confidence and to talk about them graciously with the people in your life.

No background knowledge is needed. Whether these topics feel theoretical or deeply personal to you, you're welcome here.
