Membership At Central

Your commitment to sharing the gospel, participating in the mission of Jesus, and your own spiritual maturity is best expressed and experienced when you commit yourself to being a member of the local church. We want Central to be a place where you and your oikos are shaped by the love of Jesus for years to come. So if you’re not yet a member, we strongly encourage you to pursue membership at Central.

CONNECTION CLASS

Our Connection Class is designed to help you get acquainted with who we are, what makes Central unique, and how we hope to play a part in God’s Kingdom work in the world. Because that is the ultimate goal—that we would be used by God in living out the gospel. Part of the Connection Class curriculum includes reviewing and completing a membership application, which is an important step in our team getting to know you!

Baptism

We believe that baptism is an important step in the life of a believer. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change, publicly declaring what Jesus has already done in your life. Baptism by immersion is a beautiful way of identifying with Jesus, symbolizing death, burial and resurrection. It’s a way of declaring to the world your love for and allegiance to Christ.

When registering to be baptized, you’ll also be prompted to attend a mandatory baptism class.
