Central Church has a broad and compassionate array of ministries designed to walk with individuals through some of life’s toughest challenges, whether through personal struggles, loss, or difficult seasons.
Watching someone you love choose a path far from God can be heartbreaking, confusing, and exhausting. If you’re walking through the pain of seeing a child, grandchild, spouse, or family member drift from their faith or choose a life path far from your hopes and dreams for them, we want you to know you are not alone — and we share in your struggle.
If you’ve lost a loved one, the pain of grief can feel overwhelming. GriefShare is a compassionate support group designed to walk with you on your journey through grief, offering both emotional and spiritual support as you navigate this difficult season.
Through GriefShare, you’ll find:
- Healing and Support: A safe space to express your grief and find comfort in the company of others who understand.
- Spiritual Guidance: Practical tools and spiritual encouragement to help you process your loss and heal.
- Community: Connect with others who are grieving and share your experiences in a supportive environment.
Do you long to connect with others who understand the grief of losing a child and want to process it in a healthy, biblical way? We invite you to join Jim & Jodi Welch for a monthly support group for grieving parents. After losing their 12-year-old daughter to a rare brain tumor in 2023, Jim and Jodi now walk alongside others, offering compassion, understanding, and Christ-centered hope.
We begin with a brief teaching on a grief-related topic (such as lament, navigating holidays, or helping siblings grieve) and spend time together for group discussion and support. This faith-based community is a place to process grief honestly and find hope together. Each session is 60-90 minutes.
“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14
Whether you are struggling with the sorrow of infertility, the loss of a child, or the pain of a miscarriage, Anchored is a place where you can share your story, receive emotional and spiritual support, and draw closer to God in the midst of your grief.
- A Safe Community: Connect with other women who understand your pain and are walking through similar struggles. You are not alone.
- Spiritual Support: Explore how God's love, grace, and healing can bring peace in the midst of your pain.
- Healing Resources: Access helpful tools, conversations, and resources to support your journey toward emotional and spiritual healing.

Divorce can be one of the most painful and challenging experiences in life, not just for adults, but for children as well. At Central Church, we offer DivorceCare for adults and DivorceCare 4 Kids (DC4K) for children to provide support, healing, and a safe space for families going through divorce or separation.
- DivorceCare: 13-week program that begins twice a year, once in January and again in September, on Sunday afternoons.
- DivorceCare 4 Kids (DC4K): A program for children ages 6-12 that helps them process family struggles and divorce in a safe and supportive environment.
