DivorceCare and DivorceCare 4 Kids will start at Central on Sunday, Jan. 15 and will meet weekly from 3:00 to 5:00pm. Meetings take place in room #167 of Central’s Family Life Center and space is limited.

DivorceCare is for anyone going through a divorce or separation as well as couples facing difficulties in their relationship, with the goal of helping them find help, hope, and healing. About half of first marriages in the U.S. end in divorce, according to the National Center for Health Statistics. Pew Research Center reports that the U.S. has the world’s highest rate of single parenthood, with nearly a quarter of children under the age of 18 living in single-parent households. DivorceCare & DivorceCare4Kids (more info below) offers a 13-week video/workbook course that teaches how to process and share the feelings and disappointments associated with divorce.

DivorceCare 4 Kids is for children ages 6-12 and it offers a safe, caring, fun environment where children can explore healthy life skills to maneuver through the rough places of family fracturing and divorce. DC 4 Kids meets during the same time as our adult DivorceCare classes in room #168 of Central’s Family Life Center.

Registration for the next round of DivorceCare will be available soon. For more details, visit centralsf.org/divorcecare or contact Central’s Pastor of Recovery Ministries, Roger Anderson, at (605) 940-7426 or [email protected]
