Mentoring changes lives—both yours and your mentee’s. One of our Central Renewal mentors recently helped guide a newly homeless mother of four from sleeping on a couch to being reunited with her kids in a three-bedroom home. That’s the kind of life change you can be a part of as a mentor.

Are you interested in mentoring through our Central Renewal and Pettigrew Heights ministries? We’d love for you to come to our info meeting/training on Dec. 11 at 12:30pm in the Hearth Room. Food is provided. RSVP to Nathan Pruett, Outreach Pastor, at [email protected]

Christmas is often stereotyped as the holiday of joy and cheer.

But for some, it looks much different.

The reality is, people all around us are suffering with pain, loss, loneliness and more and we feel it’s our responsibility as the church to create a space for for anyone experiencing those emotions during this holiday season.

That is why we are hosting our Blue Christmas service on Dec. 20 at 6:30pm—IN PERSON—in the Hearth Room.

This service will be a place where we can see and support one another to find comfort in the presence of God with us.

Share this with someone you know—it may just be their starting point for recovery.

You can RSVP at centralsf.org/bluechristmasRSVP. We ask you to sign up if you plan to attend so we know ahead of time if we’ll need to move to a larger room. Thanks!

Central is excited to be launching new resources for reaching your oikos effectively. Visit centralsf.org/oikos to get the info and resources. The site offers tips and suggestions for helping you declare the Gospel—both scripturally and personally—defend the Gospel, and dialogue the Gospel. If you have more questions about reaching your oikos, contact our Pastor of Outreach, Nathan Pruett at [email protected].
