Have you felt a call to serve in another country? Have you heard about Central’s Ethiopia initiative and wondered how you can get involved? Well we’re hosting an info meeting on April 23 from 2:00 to 3:00pm for anyone who’s interested.

Our next trip dates will be July 28-August 6 and the trip will have two specific roles. One: we will be leading an English camp for our in-country partner, Selamta. This is an opportunity for any lay person who has a heart to serve and teach children. You do NOT need to be a teacher or have an educational degree—anyone is welcome!

The second important piece of this trip will be the moment Kendra Michael, our Director of Operations, will be officially moving to Ethiopia. If you’re one of Kendra’s supporters or you just want to be involved in her move, this would be a fun opportunity for that. During our time in Ethiopia, we’ll stay in the capital city, Addis Ababa.

If hearing this information has even sparked a little bit of interest in you, then RSVP for our informational meeting at centralsf.org/julytrip.

The big commitment can happen later, but right now, it’s important you get all the information you need to process and pray about this amazing opportunity. The meeting will be on April 23 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in the Hearth Room at Central Church. Light snacks will be provided. For any questions or concerns, text or call Kendra Michael at 605-929-2221 or email her at [email protected]

Are you the kind of person who wants to help people feel more connected and engaged at Central? If you are, we’ve got good news. We’re hosting an interest meeting and training for Regional Service volunteers on Monday, March 27 from 5:30-7:00pm in our Oakwood Chapel. A light dinner and childcare will be provided. To sign up, please register at centralsf.org/regionaltraining.

Central is excited to be launching new resources for reaching your oikos effectively. Visit centralsf.org/oikos to get the info and resources. The site offers tips and suggestions for helping you declare the Gospel—both scripturally and personally—defend the Gospel, and dialogue the Gospel. If you have more questions about reaching your oikos, contact our Pastor of Outreach, Nathan Pruett at [email protected].
