Cherish Care Homebound Ministry
Join one of our homebound visitation team members on a mission of mercy and love to minister to our homebound.
DivorceCare is for anyone who is going through a divorce or separation, or marriages/couples facing troubles in their relationship, with the goal of helping them find help, hope, and healing.
DivorceCare starts Jan. 31 and will run through May 9. Meetings go from 3:00 to 5:00pm in room #167 of Central’s Family Life Center.
If you have any questions about DivorceCare, email Roger Anderson or call (605) 275-1678.
Central offers DivorceCare 4 Kids for kids age 6-12. DC4K offers a safe, caring, fun environment where children can explore healthy life skills to maneuver through the rough places of family fracturing and divorce.

Are you…
working through addiction issues?
wanting freedom from your hurts, hang-ups, and habits?
wondering how Christ’s hope relates to you?
If you are, then Recovery Ministries can help.
The best antidote for chaos—and the deception it brings into our lives—is a healing truth. The 12 Steps of Recovery provide a wonderful road map to help you walk that path. This program can be applied to almost any addiction or problem we may be facing. The 12 Steps of Recovery aren’t just something to be memorized— they are a course of action that we have to follow carefully and do. And through Discovery Ministries, we can help you do it.
Group space is limited, so don’t wait to sign up. Books and materials cost is $50 (due by cash or check upon start of groups).
To sign up, contact Pastor Roger Anderson at [email protected] or (605) 940-7426.
If you’ve been hurt or betrayed by a spouse’s addiction, the Betrayal and Beyond series is designed to give hope and healing to women who are feeling hopeless and alone. The group and workbook reveal the truth and nature of sexual addiction, and how women are wounded by an addict’s behaviors. For women who have suffered betrayal, their healing comes from understanding the role of trauma, establishing healthy boundaries, exploring the depth of forgiveness, and learning to live in restoration.
The Betrayal & Beyond women’s group will begin meeting at Central Church on Monday nights starting Sept. 14. Meetings start at 7:00pm in Central’s Family Life Center (room #167) and the program will run through June of 2021. Workbooks and journals are required at the cost of $40 and they can be picked up at the office or mailed after application confirmation.
To connect with someone about this group, email Pastor Roger Anderson at [email protected], or call the church office at (605) 336-3378.
Our Recovery Ministry hosts special speakers 3-4 times per year. These events cover general topics related to addiction, recovery, and more. Content and times to be announced. Email [email protected] to be contacted when new events are scheduled.
