Men's Ministry

The purpose of our Men’s Ministry is to support the discipleship efforts of Central Church by calling men of all ages and life situations to participate in godly mentoring relationships. We desire to see each man able and willing to share the gospel with their oikos so others will know and love Jesus and become grounded in their faith.

Are you looking to get connected with other men to grow in your faith? Forged is a community of godly men who serve and gather on a daily and weekly basis. We are living out the oikos principle to help men share the love of Jesus with their relational world.

Men’s Night

We gather once a month at Central to connect and study the Word. Often we invite a guest speaker to share their story and then have a time of reflection at individual tables. Table leaders lead conversations to inspire and impact attendees in their faith walk.

Next Forged Event: Friday, May 3 at 6pm

Join us on Friday, May 3 at 6pm for our next Men’s Night. Jon Nagel and Keith Boggs will speak on biblical manhood and mentoring. Keith is the founder of the national men’s ministry Real Momentum. We’ll have a meal, a challenge from the Word from Jon and Keith, and time to fellowship with each other. It’s going to be a great night at Central Church.

Men’s Huddles at Central Church

A Men’s Huddle is a community of men where we will be equipped to grow deeper through studying the Bible, prayer and fellowship so that we can share the gospel with our oikos! We have three different small groups for men to join.

Followers Made and Disciples Made groups are full. We’ll start a new session in September 2024.

The Core

This is an 11-week series of group studies consisting of weekly video teachings from BetterMan Ministries and group discussions that provide a clear definition of biblical masculinity and practical ways to make your marriage, parenting, work-life, relationship with God — everything — better. We will meet weekly.

II Samuel

As a huddle, we will study the book of II Samuel and examine the lives of King David and Solomon each week. As we study, we will focus on answering the question – What does God seek when he looks at the heart of a leader? We will meet weekly.

Galatians

Listening to teaching from Kyle Idleman. In this 6-part series, Kyle Idleman underscores the freedom of a life with Christ by getting back to the basics. In this Book of the Bible series, Kyle Idleman dives into the book of Galatians to show that true freedom is found in surrender.

Thursday Mornings @ 6:30 am

We are the early morning crew who gather at the church in the Hearth Room. After a brief time of connecting we have about 30 minutes of teaching and then a time of discussion and applying lessons learned.
