Part 1: Knowing God – ASL

The implications of what is called the Incarnation (God becoming human) are what the Christian faith stands upon. It is foundational to all Christian belief. Did God have to become a human to fulfill His purpose for humanity? Yes. Was there another way? Not that we know of. Christmas is that time of year when songs we hear in shopping malls, billboards we see on our boulevards, and specials we watch on TV all celebrate the birth of Jesus - also known as the Incarnation. What does it all mean? Why did God become human? How does it benefit us?
