Part 1: The Power of Connection – ASL
Throughout the New Testament, the human body is used as a metaphor to describe the church. We are all members of the body, with Christ as the head. The apostle Paul writes, "A body is made up of many parts, and each of them has its own use. That's how it is with us. There are many of us, but we each are part of the body of Christ, as well as part of one another." Romans 12:4-5 (CEV)
In a world of individualism, God shows us how we're part of something much bigger than ourselves. And He illustrates how each of us — with out different personalities, talents, and experiences — plays a vital role in fulfilling God's purpose.
You need the body and the body needs you. In this series, we'll explore why that simple truth is so important.
