Set Apart
Sermon Description
In this week's message, Pastor Jeff walks us through 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 and Acts 18:1-8 to discuss the difference between our "scoreboard" and God's "scoreboard" regarding life. Throughout the message, you'll hear three ways God measures our "score" and how these ways measure the fruit that comes from our faith in Him. Through this message, we hope you will start viewing your world differently. That you would see God's scoreboard more presently than the world's and that you would continue to make sure you're fighting for the right things.
Series Overview
Corinth was a place marked by diversity, wealth, moral compromise, and intense cultural pressure—and into this context, Paul calls the believers to live differently.
"Set Apart" is a call to holiness and distinctiveness, both for the Corinthians and for us today. This sermon series on 1 Corinthians explores what it means to be a community and individuals who are set apart by God, not defined by the culture around us, but by the gospel we’ve received from Jesus Christ.
