Set Apart
Sermon Description
In this week's message, Pastor Jeff walks us through 1 Corinthians 6:12-20, where Paul discusses sexual immorality. Throughout the message, you'll see biblical examples of how the church of Corinth justified their immorality, along with five points that affirm the sacredness of our bodies given to us by God. Through this message, we hope that you will see your body as a temple, blameless and Holy, because of the work done on the cross. And that you would continually run from the things that threaten the sanctification of your Spirit.
Series Overview
Corinth was a place marked by diversity, wealth, moral compromise, and intense cultural pressure—and into this context, Paul calls the believers to live differently.
"Set Apart" is a call to holiness and distinctiveness, both for the Corinthians and for us today. This sermon series on 1 Corinthians explores what it means to be a community and individuals who are set apart by God, not defined by the culture around us, but by the gospel we’ve received from Jesus Christ.
