Set Apart

Jeff Wheeler | Jan 19, 2025

Sermon Description

In this week's message, Pastor Jeff walks us through 1 Corinthians 6:1-8, where Paul addresses the church of Corinth regarding their response to injustice or offenses. Throughout the message, you'll hear about three pillars required for a Godly response. You'll also hear biblical and practical examples of how to live these three pillars out in your daily life. Through this message, we hope that you will begin to respond to conflict, offenses, and injustices as Jesus would and see a profound difference in how a Godly response affects your relationships.

Series Overview

Corinth was a place marked by diversity, wealth, moral compromise, and intense cultural pressure—and into this context, Paul calls the believers to live differently.

"Set Apart" is a call to holiness and distinctiveness, both for the Corinthians and for us today. This sermon series on 1 Corinthians explores what it means to be a community and individuals who are set apart by God, not defined by the culture around us, but by the gospel we’ve received from Jesus Christ.
